On Thursday, March 23rd from 6:30-8:00pm, Pathfinder will host Youth Suicide Prevention Program (YSPP) to facilitate a 1 hour training for parents about suicide statistics and warning signs as well as resources and ways to help. YSPP’s mission is to reduce youth suicide attempts and deaths in Washington State. YSPP envisions a state where youth suicide is a rare event, where young people are nurtured and supported, where individuals and families are aware of risk factors for suicide and actively seek help from accessible, effective community resources. This training will be held in the Pathfinder library. We’re looking forward to having you join us to talk about this important topic!
